They do have a rewards club one time match.  I made the mistake of doing that at the end of October.  The match was only good until the end of the year.  If I had to do it again, I would have waited to match levels at the beginning of the next year.  If everything that I'm doing to the house continues on schedule, I'm planning to go to Central City/Blackhawk next Tuesday to use by Lodge/Gilpin promo coupons.  Take care.

Don't forgot the free slot tournament at Ameristar while you're there. Have fun!

What do they give you? I belonged to the D players' club many years ago, but I've never joined the One Club (every time I've entered the D or Circa with the idea of doing that, I've been driven back, bleeding from my ears). I'd jump on their promo and play their shit VP for however long it takes to get the bennies.

I haven't had time to look into it, maybe you can break it down and see what you think. Gotta dig into the available games.

"CLUB ONE NEW MEMBER CHALLENGE!

Are you up to the Club One New Member Challenge? New members can earn up to $300 in slot free play within the first 24 hours of signing up at Club One. Every 50 points earned playing slots gets you $5 in free slot play up to $100. When you reach 1,000 points, the challenge is on! You will receive the $100 Tier 1 bonus when 1,500 points are earned and the $200 Tier 2 Bonus when 2,000 points are earned. Can you beat the Club One New Member challenge and earn 2,000 points? This is a promotion that is limited to 24-hours after signup."

I did it late last year.  It is tough to get 2000 points.  I got to 1500 points and then pittered out.  Oh btw, I did it at 50 cent level at Circa overlooking the sportsbook but the music was very loud.  (8/5 BP)

There also in the LVA coupon that will get you up to $100 for 1000 points.  It is basically a 1% promo.  Can you play 10K at the Vue bar in a day?  Tough but possible if you enjoy it that much.

I'd file this mentally under "Not worth it" because:

It will take $20,000 coin-in to max out the promo.

The best game is 8/5 BP, which returns 99.17% with perfect play (easy to achieve, fortunately). You figure to lose 0.83% of your coin-in, which comes to minus $166.

You get $300 in free play, which will be worth around $292 when you run that back through, so you have an expected win of $126.

But how long will it take? First of all, if you don't max out the promo, it's REALLY not worth bothering with. So let's say you do max it out. Let's say, for example, you're a reasonably fast player and you can pump in 600 hands an hour. That's $1,500 coin-in/hr if you play 50 cent denoms. OVER THIRTEEN HOURS.

If you can manage 800 hands an hour (my normal speed) the time on machine drops to "only" ten hours. And if you played dollars...five hours.

Here's why i wouldn't play it. First of all, Bonus Poker is boring as hell. So I'm faced with several hours of trying to play accurately and stay awake. Second, let's say that I don't hit a royal. I'll lose more than I'll gain from the promo. Ever put in twenty grand and lose two grand? Or three? Or five? I have. Too many times to count.

But let's talk optimal results. You play dollars, you're fast, you get your theoretical return. You make $126 for five hours' hard labor. Starbucks wages (if you include tips).

And your brain will have turned to cottage cheese from five hours of hearing that deafening goddamn music.

Yep, I misread the promo, I thought I would earn $200 after going over 1,000 tier points, but you don't get the bonus of $100 until 1,500 points.

I play Bonus Poker almost every Sunday, I play at about 900 hands per hour, so to max out the promo on a $1 machine it would take just under 5 hours.
