Are there any daily minis left? BJ, slot, VP or poker?

I wouldn't want to say at any given time that there aren't any--it's pretty difficult to keep track of all the possibilities--but my impression is that those daily tourneys are a thing of the past. Hell, Downtown Grand had a bunch of them not very long ago--they attracted lots of customers--and still, they killed them off (the tourneys, not the customers).
My guess is that the squeeze-out-of-the-customer-per-hour amount is pretty low for tourneys, so the bean counters everywhere have concluded that it isn't worth the trouble.
The last two times I was at M Resort, there were free blackjack and slot tourneys based on the points you earned that day—nothing with a buy-in. M is in Henderson and certainly off the beaten path. They have them on their website under casino promos.

There are still slot tourneys here and there on "senior days" that are usually free to enter and don't award very big prizes but hey, provide ten minutes' respite from contemplating onrushing senility and death. Which is pretty much what Vegas locals' casinos are for, in general.
M is weird. They're like the Palms has been for so long, in that they can't make up their minds whether they're a full-fledged locals' casino or not. They've had decent VP at various intervals, but because it takes so long to get there from anywhere else in Vegas, I haven't darkened their doorstep in a while.
Remember that buffet they had? Waaaaaah...
I'm sure for poker you meant Video Poker, but if you are looking for poker tournaments use phone apps such as BravoLive or PokerAtlas, they have all the details.
They make money on the multiple day tournaments by offering the tourney along with a 2 or 3 day 'free' stay. I haven't seen any daily minis in years.
I have to say that Harrah's Las Vegas had the best slot tournaments many many years ago. Came with three free nights, at least three rounds of the tourney, always a big welcome banquet/buffet at sign in time with fabulous food, good intra tourney gifts and freebies, always a free professionally done photo with cute background, a massive breakfast buffet on the second and third day of the tournament, and a massive dinner to close it out and announce the final winners. I'd wait and schedule my trips when those tourney offers came in the mail.
Wynn had some dailys which were told to you after check in if your wanted, no pre email or snail mail. Slam bam do your two rounds, and you are done, unless your combined score put you in the next grouping. Just "thanks for playing", tho as Kevin mentioned, it freed you from the sucking wind slot machine for a few minutes.
