Hello there. I am a 10-16 NSUD player. Because of the tax issues I must play a strategy a little differently from the standard optimum play strategy. If they raise the threshold for automatic tax , then I can adjust my strategy. For tax reasons I stick mostly with 50ct denom play, but the Royal pays only 2800 coins instead of 4000, because I am from overseas and they withhold the 30 per cent tax, still.
Another question that arises is that the following hand to me makes no sense but I try to remember optimum play and discard the 4-straight (with deuces), because of the 3 kicker. My learning program says if it's a 3 kicker then I must hold the deuce alone. Can somebody explain to me how come? I really don't know what difference a 3, 4 or 5 makes when getting dealt a hand like J-10-Q plus deuce and a 3, with all different suits. To me it makes no difference if the other card is a 3 or a 5. Optimum play sas to hold the deuce alone then. Can anybody explain? Thanks.
