Downtown Slots and VP

If you play downtown, where have you found the best place to play
VP and slots?

Don't know about slots, but MSS and 4 Queens are the best places for VP.
Cal, Fremont, Fitz, El Cortez and Vegas Club are good places for VP
Plaza ok
Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, Gold Spike blow. Basically if it's gold it's fools gold

Main Street Station is our favorite followed by Fremont, 4 Queens, and California. I wish Golden Nugget would get some playable VP as I would love to stay there.

MSS VP has been the place of my biggest wins over the years but beware, they are starting to mess with pay schedules along with removing best machines. Still they are better than most, especially Strip properties. Walk next door to the Cal and play there too. Very good selection of VP along with a lot of old coin paying machines.

The El is my other downtown fave for VP.

Took some friends downtown Sunday night (they had never seen the light show) and it was packed. Popped in to several casinos to check the DDB schedules and was not impressed at all (and the joints were packed to the gills). Couldn't wait to get back to the Red Rock.

Four Queens

I love downtown and my two favorite places are at opposite ends. MSS and El Cortez. Both with decent VP and easy comps. El Cortez has better rules for BJ if you also want to mix that in. 21 days and counting.

I'm in a bit of confusion here on this one.

First, I cannot get a response on my post under "COMPS"
where I am trying to find out what the point system is, but this I think
is true (80% confident, and I am 20% total BS).

4Q or MSS

With my 80% confidence level here it goes...

MSS

Food == better than every other place,,, 4Q is also good from what I read.

Nitty Gritty on points

MSS is part of the B-CONNECTED group that is also the Gold Coast and the Orleans

All Coast casinos are 0.1% on cash back. Unless you can get them on one or their promo nights at
10X Slots or 5X VP, they are no better (or worse) than locals off site strip casinos.

The 4Q has 0.5% cash back, Decent VP, but not as good MSS

However, MSS (that is part of the B-CONNECTED players club) only plays
0.1 % , but has better VP, but not by much.

So which one is better? I have already posted a question about this.

I was just at MSS and did not see any removal of their good machines. They have 10/7 DB that earns very little in slot club rewards. 9/6 JoB and 9/7 DB that earnes their standard rate; I'm not as analytical as others. It's pretty easy to get free rooms.

I think the El Cortez is in the same league.

Fitz also has some decent machines, and they basically throw hotel rooms at you. But now they have new owners, so who knows?
