Downtown Slots and VP

4Queens has Full Pay 10/7DB with at progressive meter at the .25 level also has 9/6 JOB. Their cashback is better the MST and I think their offers are very good. I like both places because of their brewerys. I think MST buffet is over priced and not worth anywhere what they charge. My casino of choice is 4Queens.

The cash back at 4Q is .3125%. Used to be .5%, but that was years ago. And you also earn comps in addition to the cash back.
My favorite downtown casino is MSS. They have taken out one bank of 8 full pay 10/7 machines across from the brewpub, but still have 10 of them as slant tops on the south end of the casino. The uprights are still there, but were downgraded to 9/7. The slant tops are in a bank that says over 100% available. Be warned, . . . the 10/7 game is included as well as 9/6 JOB, but the other games in these multigame machines are way under 100%. The cashback/comp points are reduced on these machines, no matter which game you play. The main casino bar has 9/6 JOB on all the bar top machines, and you can get all the brewpubs regular beers here, also. (Marker pale ale and black chip porter come highly recommended by me.)

4Queens has one long row of 10/7DB only at the .25 level against the back wall. It's the only full pay progressive 10/7 game downtown that I am aware of. (There might be a progressive 10/7 at the Cal that still pays in quarters instead of tickets.)

One response requested good DDB downtown, and I have to agree that there isn't any full pay for this game anywhere that I know of downtown. The Stations/Fiestas seem to be about the only places to find 10/6DDB or Full pay deuces wild. Also, the responder who said that anything gold or golden was worthless as far as VP goes, hit the nail right on the head. Roy

Great detailed response for MSS from Roy. I might add that they removed the only Multi-Strike machine (up against the buffet window) this past October. Loved that machine as did many regulars. Often would have the same player for hours on end!
Sams Town also has some Full-Pay Deuces Wild slants. IIRC it takes $2 to earn a point on them so .05% unmultiplied. They're the only 100.76% machines in the b-connected system as far as I know. I'm pretty sure multipliers do apply.
I think that the .50% rate that is listed at Four Queens is for Slot Machine play where it takes $5 of coin-in to earn a point whereas Video Poker play takes $8 of coin-in to earn one point. And yes, Four Queens also has a separate comps account.

Downtown Casinos that offer both cashback and/or Freeplay plus a separate comps account (at least as far as I know) are: Four Queens, Las Vegas Club and Plaza Casinos.

Cal, Fremont, Fitz, El Cortez and Vegas Club are good places for VP
Plaza ok
Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, Gold Spike blow. Basically if it's gold it's fools gold

I love this quote.. And it is so easy to remember when we get caught up in the moment with all the downtown lights, and want to dive into the neareast place.

BTW... My wife is just going to go nuts with this simple phrase...

If it is gold, it's fools gold. She'll love it!!!!!!
