Frank Kneeland reported them gone after a conversation with management there that they have been "removed".
How long do you give the 10/7 DB to last? This is a tougher game and some of the upside comes from the progressive but this has CET DNA all over it.
I have an ACG 3x points coupon there....need to get over there in the next few weeks to play this before .25% becomes .1% and anything north of 99.5% is history.
Goes to show you that when you're the former majority owner and not down to 2-3% interest, you don't hold the nuts any longer.
A poster on the VPFree board has provided the following update:
Just to let you all know that a bunch of full pay machines are gone. Was at the palms an hour ago and the 10 upright dollar progressive DB machines are now 9/7. All the full pay machines that were near the FPDW bank are missing completely.
Hate to say it but I told yah so https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=53&threadid=310807
Given the new ownership group it was inevitable changes would be made and NOT to our advantage. Be there next week for 3 nights but think still safe till at least then
I have to say that this move by the new powers-that-be at Palms does not surprise me one bit! When I had initially read about the management change and especially that it was CET who was taking control of Palms, I figured that sadly and unfortunately it was just going to be a matter of time before they found out where the good gaming was there and then they would end up downgrading it to the bad stuff (at least in Southern Nevada) that CET (formerly Harrah's) is known for! And I also wonder if the article that Bob Dancer put out on 7/19 about the coupon in the ACG for 3X points there and how much expected value it had for him there had any influence on them.
Plus also there has been that "Palms Slot Play" offers where you get $40 of Slot Play for $25 or new Palms Slot Club members get $50 in Freeplay for $25 (which was mentioned in an earlier Westie Originally Posted thread).

Yeah, we were just there, they're gone (also reported MIA multiple times on vpFree). Jimcon, if they wanted to make space, why didn't they take out some slots? Oh yeah, FPDW machines are bulkier, sorry.
