I just got an email from Ellis Island and they were promoting $10 craps with 10x odds. Does this mean that $5 craps table is extinct? Dang! I was afraid that would happen when they did the renovations. Can someone confirm or deny the extinction of my favorite craps place?

$5 craps may still be available there, albeit only daytime and/or midweek. However, in August, I saw huge marquees at both Silver Sevens and Tuscany, both of which are quite near EI--the three joints are close competitors--each advertising $5 craps. So since the Vegas downward spiral isn't going to level out anytime soon, I think you should still be able to find your favorite game at one or all of those places--and maybe elsewhere as well.
I don't know what their current table game hours are but hostorically they don't open the craps table until 6pm. Limits rise and fall with the crowd size. At least they still have live dealers. That's getting to be more uncommon - especially in the low roller joints

That trend may be undergoing a temporary reversal, as the "fringe of the Strip" casinos seem to be making a converted effort to offer value. Probably temporary, as it's still Vegas, the gouge capital of the world.
You can play table games for $5 at over a dozen joints in Reno.

Usually there is a 5 dollar table until 4 o'clock, but I have not been there for about 3 months
