Emerald Island/Rainbow 1% cash back all month

Earn 1000 points ($1000 coin-in) and get $10 cashback. Dec 1-14 at EI; Dec 15-29 at Rainbow. You keep the points.

The exception is Sunday at Rainbow and Tuesday at EI; on those days, 1400 points gets you $20.

EI just put in some new games, including four upright bubble craps, something I haven't seen before.

Kevin - do you know if its limited to 1,000 points to get the $10 cashback or can you earn multiples of the 1,000 points such as 5,000 or more?

Also is the cashback given in free play or actual cash?

Once per day. Sorry, I should have clarified. They give it in cash.

They have 25x points every day on single line poker and all slots, from 10 to 12, 2 to 4, and 7 to 9. This elevates the return to 1.66%, though you can pretty much only spend the points on food. They do have some merchandise you can buy.

You can piggyback this with other promos, for example 1,500 points on Thursdays at EI gets you a wheel spin with EV +$15. On Wednesdays at Rainbow, same promo, but their wheel is worth $21.

You ain't gonna get rich playing there, but you can play some fun +EV games and have a good meal.

I play there half my trip now based on Kevin's advice a year or so ago.  I really enjoy both places.  Food is good in each as well.  I even got my wife admitting to it being pretty nice on our last trip in November.

The wife and I both got the free food coupons in our dec mailer.  It is always nice when they want your play.  These coupons seem pretty random, not sure what they are based on, but the food is pretty good.

We got a December mailer with no food offers, it is very random.

No, I don't think so. I've always compared what I get on any given month with what other players get and our respective action. The key to the puzzle is that your benefit period goes back to the previous quarter, with a one-month gap. So what you got in December would depend on your play in September and October.
