The depends on how many times odds the casino offers and, even more than that, on your willingness to play full odds, doesn't it?
I mean if a pass line bet has a 2% house edge (sorry, I don't know exactly what the edge is) and 10x odds, and your pass line bet was $10, you'll have $10 at risk with a 2% disadvantage for a 20 cent expected loss. You'll also have $100 at risk at a fair odds bet. So your total expected loss is 20 cents for a $110 bet.
If the house only offers 5x odds, or if you're not willing/able to play the full 10x odds, that ratio becomes less favorable for you.
