This is sad to admit but after 15 years of Vegas trips.....4-6 visits a year! Video Poker classes books etc. etc. etc. it finally happened!
I got to Vegas Monday and got home last night! I am out there a lot for business but I get to enjoy the Orleans Gold Coast Hilton and Main Street quite a bit and I play a ton of 9/6 JOB 8/5 BP and also DDb and DB if a see a good Prgressive.
I played a ton the last few days and Wednesday Night I was playing 9/6 at main bar at GC for about three hours...finally said enough is enough another trip another shutout on the Royal scene...it was almost 8 and I headed down to hit the buffet.....Luis had graciously comped me....I saw the end of my Indians vs. Red Sox on thescreen at the Red Zone so I stopped in there and grabbed an Ultra......threw my ticket in the machine and saw the Progressive at $1172.00 so what the heck.....about eight hands in I held AQ of Hearts and sure enough I nailed it....first Royal and it was $1188...how about that...hopefully the first of many to come!
