Ditto on the congrats. It's hard not hitting that 1st RF when hearing about others getting them--but once you've got one, it's a lot easier to be optimistic about the rest still to come.

Wanted to add my congrats on your first royal also. Both me and my hubby are still batting zero on royals so to hear that you just got your first gives me hope.
Congrats on your first royal. It took me about 4 years to get my first one although I must admit I wasn't playing proper strategy and playing for the royal like I should have been too. Once I started playing proper strategy and playing for the royal, I started to get them on a fairly regular basis (about every 3rd trip to Vegas on average and every once in a while in Shreveport). Last year I had four trips to Vegas and never hit one and watched my girlfriend hit a royal 3 of the 4 trips. That was depressing, but this year I have hit 2 so I am happy (and my girlfriend is still looking for her first this year). For me I seem to get a few close together, then have a lull before the next batch comes around. I hope you hit many more this year.
