I've been concerned since they removed four of the twelve machines last fall. This has been our favorite play for years. I hope they don't downgrade the 9/6 JOB by the cashiers cage or we may have to go back to giving Main Street most of our play.
I'm pretty sure all 14 of the JOB machines by the cage are still the same. We have friends staying there and she hit a royal at the quarter level this morning.
Thanks for the info, Mr. Cheese. I would rather have kept the machines by Keno intact and changed the ones by the cage but at least there are some options. I like the area by the Keno much better. You never know when that little "Mayor of Fremont Street" fella will be hammered and arguing with his buddies in the sports book.
I'm sad to have one less option for playing at Four Queens! I did at times play on the machines by the Keno and I liked (if I ever wanted to do it -- but hadn't done it in years) having the option of playing at the 5c level. And I for years have been recommending newbies to play 9/6 Jacks at the Nickel level there.
Now I don't know where other good very low end (below 25c) plays are.
We have verification from Cheese's friend that $0.25 9/6 JOB still exists at the machines by the cage. Does anyone know if other denominations such as $0.05, $0.50, and $1 are still in play at 9/6 on those machines?
