Their last known location consisted of six machines at Sam's Town, but now, gone.
End of an era.

The only good VP news is that the 10/7 DB machines at 4Q now earn full, not half points. I wonder what made them do that. Anyway, it's now a 101% game--better than FPDW with no points.
I wonder just how much those six machines made Sam's Town bleed...at $7 an hour with perfect play. Greedy bastards. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their underwear.
It's only the 25c not the $1 10/7 DB that have been changed from $16 to $8 per point.

VP is pretty much dead other than just playing for comps mainly. I pretty much look at it as a breakeven game if you are good at it and enjoy it enough to play it. I'm wavering the last few years on if I enjoy it enough anymore to just play it for comps. Yeah, I know there are a few small EV plays here and there with promos. But it is nothing like it was even as of late as the 2000s.
Too many people that will play $25 a hand 6/5 BJ, roulette or Ultimate Texas holdem. And yes, most of them are not posters here and are 40 or younger. It does suck for our crowd on this forum.
For what it's worth, I just got my regular offer from 4Q--two nights comped, 7 additional nights at 30% off, $40 free play---once each for April and May. The best part is that I can use the room comps on the weekend.
So they skipped March on my offers, but haven't pulled the plug. I guess March Madness, some convention or the other, GOOBERCAR, and maybe the World Nun-Beating Championship convinced all the casinos not to offer any goodies for March.
Rumors are that the 4Q is going to lower the boom on comps in the very near future, so I'm tempted to go there maybe in late April. The weather in Vegas is pretty nice that time of year, just before it turns into a sun-scorched hellscape.
No, actually I read it on VPFree2 first, 3 days before your post.
You were at Sam's Town and noticed this yourself on 3/4?
I was just checking out the services at https://qwertylabs.io/services/ when I saw this post. Anyway, is this good news or bad news? I mean I guess an era ending is not entirely bad.
