OK #1 Post

I was in Biloxi, and playing slots at 5c, and it cranked up to $140...
I walked away at 2:00 am with it still in the Slot..

Came back later, after I noticed I screwed up, and because it was so late, and little people still playing, it was still there..

Opps

But Lucly to still grab it..
I have three - 1) first trip to Las Vegas (10 years ago) TITO's were around but not all machines were converted. Even back then I hated dirty coins so I played machines that had them. I cashed out a ticket and really wanted to play this Merlin game but it wasn't converted yet so I put my ticket in the coin tray and put a twenty in the game, played it through and walked away w/o my ticket. Went back and it was gone. 2) playing video poker and dealt 4 Kings and missed holding one of them so what should have been a $62.50 was .75 cent pay out. and #3) I was having a bad night for losing and my bank roll was almost done but the dear hubby still had some play in him so I switched from max bet $1.25 a hand on video poker to just a quarter a hand, you guessed it three hands in I hit a Royal $62.50 vs $1000.
Early in my vp "career" I was dealt a sf. Was so excited I failed to press "hold" on the cards, hit the Deal button, and gone gone gone. Lesson learned.

Second time in Vegas, over 25 years ago, on a 5 line machine I was switching off 3 coins and 5 coins, and of course put in 3 coins and hit the 3 7s on the last line, never ever made that mistake again!

My wife was playing the slot machine money storm and it was her first time gambling and I told her to always bet three coins. See didn't want to and see ended up hitting three money storm symbols and won 250 credits instead of 2000. She has never bet one credit again.
Years back, the NY-NY had a FPDW or NUSD $1 TO $ 100. I put a $100 bill in and hit max bet button and got the shock of my life. Instead of $5 bet (which was a lot of money to me), i just bet $100. I prayed to just hit three of kind to get my money back. Had no such luck, lost it all on one hand.
That same thing happened to me at MGM Grand. I broke even.

damn fredo!!
The MGM Grand must have a way of causing stupid mistakes! Way back when I still played the occasional slot machine, I put a $100 bill into what I thought was a 5 cent Jackpot Party machine. My plan was to relax, play awhile, and suck up a few (more) free drinks. Hit the max credit button for the third time and it wouldn't spin. It was then I realized I was playing a $1 machine and had just bet $45 on each of my first two (losing) spins. So much for the relaxation and free drinks!
Was at the Fitz for a show. Hubby went over to turn in our vouchers to get the tickets and I sat down at what I thought was a .25 vp machine to play some DDB. Put in a $20 and played a couple had when I looked at my credits and it was off--I was at a dollar machine. Not in my vp budget to pay $5 a hand. Oh well had hit a couple little things so I decided to play down to my $20. Next had a full house-cool. then the next had 4 deuces/no kicker. Nice mistake
