Getting paid by check at Stations Casino????

I am no stranger to getting W2 forms for my gaming. My level of play just makes it a reality on a good hand... the game is immaterial. When I ask for a check at any other property,,......Harrahs property, Boyd, E Cortez, Palms etc. Anything over $1199 is fair game and I not only get the check but am treated in a courteous manner.
I find the stations simply stated to be Full of IT>
I have gotten checks from Stations but have for lack of any other words found no other way but refusing to settle for anything less than receiving a check. They always seem to have a song and dance and change the amounts they will write a check for be it $2000.00>>>>$5,000.00 or $8,000.00. They seem to be all over the place.
I have done my share of loosing as most of us but I have found that I am a different animal once I have a check in my hand vs. a big handful of hundred dollar bills and placing them back in the machine>>Sometimes it is smart but plenty of times it is stupid.
I don't know about regulations rules or any of the kind in receiving a check and every other joint in town is gracious in making this available without a question. Just wondering if anyone has any light to shed on this subject. Thank You
Obviously a casino wants you to have cash so it will be "reinvested." We are quarter VP players so you know we do not carry a lot of cash while in Vegas. One year at Sam's Town my wife hit a progressive royal for $1600 and the next morning I hit another progressive royal for better than $2K. I asked for a check but they refused. We left Sam's Town carrying in excess of $4K in $100 bills. We still had several days to stay at Orleans so we stopped at a Bank of America and bought a cashiers check for $4K. A few years later my wife hit a royal at the bar progressive at South Point for about $2,600. We asked for a check and they obliged but it took them about 30 minutes to produce the document. I fixed them as I hit another royal on an adjacent machine while we were waiting. I would not have been playing if they had been prompt with the check.
Dunno bout NV law. Try google. Pretty sure other states are specific as mississippi joints post options on the wall (check, too). The mumbo jumbo corporations go thru is unending. Blocking wifi hotspots in chain hotels last week. Metering your air on flights is next. Good luck!
I've gotten $4 K checks from Sams, but it was always a 30 min wait. RR was a little faster at about 20 minutes.
