Going to try the Envelope System

Sounds like a good and disciplined plan to me!

But do keep in mind that if you end up playing Video Blackjack, that should be checked out very carefully. Many of the machines say that player Blackjacks pay "2 For 1." But don't let that fool you since "2 for 1" is actually "1 To 1" (which is even money). Blackjack paying Even-Money will cause a lowering of the return by over 2%!

Also, Plaza Casino has a Daily Poker Tournament, so check that out as well!

Also, I don't know if there is a lot of good returning 5 Cent stand alone VP in LV anymore, but do check VPFree2.com for more information. As for Penny 50 Play, I think that Palms has 9/6 Jacks On it and if you play 5 hands at 5 coins each then it would be the financial equivalent of playing on a 5 Cent 9/6 Jacks Or Better machine. But actually, you could play one hand at full coin in and it should not affect anything -- then you would be playing 5 cents per hand. So check that out too if you're interested!

Here is what works for me Pretrip I prep 2 small Manila envelopes for each day marked with the date and a sun for day and moon for night. Then the night before the trip I load each days money into each day's envelope. On the trip I rip open an envelope each morning and whatever is left that night put in the same date envelope with the moon, lick it shut and call it night. Last few trips brought back average of 80 to 85% of my bankroll back.
dropping down in denomination is a great way to stretch your gambling budget. Coupon runs are another great way. Golden Nugget has a $2/$4 limit game most of the time and ACG has a $60 for $50 buy in coupon. They are giving you 2.5 BB just to play in their game.
I first wrote an article about money management in casinos in my blog in 2007 (yes, 9 years ago) - and that advice is STILL relevant today - it even includes the envelope system with full instructions for implementation!

Feel free to read. Old advice that's time tested is sometimes good advice.
