Shots other than Patron are comped, as are beers. Of course you tip $1/drink.

You are talking to the wrong crowd here.

Yes you are. I tip $2 per drink.

I love the whole tip thing....if soemone goes above and beyond givew them $5 if soeone is a nightmare don't give them anything...standard..I drink bottled beer and give a buck a bottle but if people are not serving we only kill ourselves by tipping anyway. That is like giving our kids money in the hope they might clean their room or clean the dog crap up in the back yard...you pay for service not just because.

How does a cocktail waitress go above and beyond? You mean, like pay you a compliment? show you a little cleavage? My $2 is paying for service, not just because. She is taking my drink order, going to the bar and ordering it, and then delivering it to me. That sounds like service to me.
All about attitude and timeliness.

I can sit and wait an hour for a drink their job is to work their designated station....as long as they take care of their station my point is the tip will be there.....you can't have a crappy attitude or sit and talk with your co workers ignoring your clientele and expect money to be thrown at you...just isn't the way it should be that is called entitlement and I am not the employer in most of those scenarios I go and get my own drinks.
I was running out the door when I sent the last note.

When I read it back I realied how bad it sounded.

I am all about tipping and to me as long as people do their job the tip will follow...if they go above and beyond I am very appreciative in the way of tips.

When people don't do their job and service levels are low...we are killing oursleves and the staff member by giving them money for inadequacy.

Hope that makes a bit more sense.
