half crap table games electronic

Fellow LVA'ers, be out in vegas in 18 days, looking forward to this trip. I wanted to ask about these electronic pit areas where there is half a crap table set up.  I have had good luck at the new horseshoe(formally ballays).  They also have that here in MGM National Harbor.  Seems I roll alot more numbers without 7ing out.  From the Golden craps shooters, the less time the dice are in the air, the better for the player.  As to get a better position, throw the dice form the side of the table not the end spots.  Not sure if half the table has anything to do with it, but wanted to get anyone else's opinoin on that.

Also here in MD, they won't let you set the dice or play with the dice prior to rolling, house rules, that's ok, I can deal with that.  gotta say some of the dealers don't understand if you are not polite to the player, no tip.  But maybe they don't care, perhpas they had a bad day, try to tip them anyway.  I do try to be a "george" to everyone, "dealers, valets, cleaning people, security, and even the player's club area, alot of the time, those people never get tipped."  read of alot of articles here on LVA and that tipping is a big topic.  Not sure if helps your luck or not, but I try to be a good guy about it.

Last week all of the Station Casinos had one electric crap table operating with one stickman.  This was not the stadium kind that was at the Grand for a short time.  Seamed to be easier to roll numbers, but not much fun.  They were all 5 dollar tables with few players and no problem with dice setting unless you are short because you have to reach over the betting stations surrounding the table.  Long delay in anouncing the roll results and waiting for new bets..Seemed to be 2 small steps at each end of the table to macke the dice tumble
