has anyone had a host at the sahara?

i feel i have been treated very poorly by the sahara, i reached tier 3 gambling in feb 23, this entitled me to a host. i contacted 1 regards a future stay in dec 23. i received a reply saying prices were not available yet. ok i will contact them again when they were available, 2 weeks later they were, i contacted the same host -no reply, i contacted another again no reply, really poor service from a hotel/casino which i really enjoyed. anyone out there had a host at the sahara?

How did you contact them? Emails can be downright hopeless sometimes. I suggest you call them one day late in the afternoon or early in the evening--ask for the casino host's office (don't name a specific host). You might have to leave a callback number.

I've never gambled at the new incarnation of the Sahara, so I've never had a host there. I strongly suspect that what's happened to you is that your former host has gone elsewhere.

I would believe they don't have prices that far ahead.  Some airlines don't even have schedules that far yet.  Not to mention it is the Christmas holiday time, so maybe they are trying to figure whether to give rates or not.  It used to be Christmas was a quiet time, but not anymore.  But at least they could make contact with you.  That's a clue, maybe.

Heck, I didn't even know Sahara was open.   Try somewhere else where you get a response.   At least maybe get a price and a reservation, even if you finally hear back from Sahara and cancel that one.  Good luck.

Don't worry about it.  When you arrive in Dec. go to the Host office, introduce yourself, ask if a Host has been assigned to you, and you'd like to meet him/her and say hello.  Tell the Host (any Host who meets with you) that you are pleased to have reached tier 3 and ask what might be the benefits?  Charge everything to your room.  Night before checkout ask if any of your charges can be comped.  I'm sure you know all this already.

Sometimes it takes a while.  They will care about you, but helps to make face to face contact.  Good luck!

Have you tried emailing the host office--NOT the individual who was your host? The reason I ask is, when hosts quit and go to work for another casino company, they often take their customer lists with them. I strongly suspect something like that has happened here. Give it a try!

thx for the advice guys and gals.
