William Hill, the British bookmaker, received unanimous recommendations of approval for licensing from the Nevada Gaming Control Board at seven casinos in Nevada, including Golden Entertainment’s Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, Arizona Charlie’s Boulder properties in Las Vegas, and the Aquarius in Laughlin.
Guessing the elimination of horse race betting has something to do with the impending change.
Ha this is funny, because news are spread that William Hill will close around 40 per cent of it's "betting shops" in the U.K. and elminate approx 1500 jobs in the Brexit country.
WOW!! hard to figure
One of my most favorite sport. I love them a lot. Generally, I don't want to miss out any show of Horse Racing. CrystallBall helps me to get all of the sports updates.
The ACD sports book used to have plenty of people hanging out, watching all the "stuff" on the TVs. As soon as William Hill took over, things went downhill.
1. Previously, when making a bet they swiped your players card and you got comp dollars to spend. Now WH has something similiar with the WH card, but I am told nowhere near the prior level.
2. Gaming Today weekly paper is not offered by WH. How cheap can you get??
3. WH operations in LV are in smaller casinos with small sports books - Tuscany, The D, Four Queens, Silver Sevens, Binions, etc.) ACD is probably their largest sportsbook by area. They need to keep it relatively full to atttract the casual players.
