How Many Tax Slips This Year?

Thanks! Congrats on your win! I have a $4k from Four Queens, too. I'm actually up there $4289 for the year.

I went back over my log and things didn't match up, so I went through all of my W2Gs and discovered that Rincon never sent me my copies. They give you a handwritten pink slip with your win at the time and then mail you the real thing, but I never got them. I'm sure they'll still report the wins, though.

So, my actual totals are 31 W2Gs for $82,936.00 with a bottom line win of $15,140.75

Congrats on the big year! I don't play nearly as much as you do. I think that I am down a little after giving about 75% of that hit at the FQ during Thanksgiving. I wasn't sniffing too many quads. I had a bad feeling on that trip when I first got there and I hit four natural aces twice on $0.50 JW in Chicago's where the progressive was up to $3600.
Sorry to hear that you ended up down a bit. Hopefully 2011 will be a big winning year!!!
We have 3 this year. Hopefully, next year it will increase. Have a safe and prosperous new year.

two small ones for me.

32 this year with a little profit. 2 years ago we had 72 and a loss for the year.
11 for 2010 and 2 for 2011

I hit a $2,000.00 royal on C,hristmas Eve. The only W2G for this year. I play mostly .25, but sometimes move up to .50 and, rarely to $1.00.

This is the first year in a long time that I have not kept written records of all my play. I do know that I am down about $3,000.00 for the year, however. I am hoping that my high medical expenses and reduced income will help me enough that I won't need to write off the gambling win. When you write all of it off, it raises a flag for an audit, even with it being only $2,000.00.

Does the casino have records of all your losses and wins, even if there are no W2G's? If that is true, I have done 95% of my play at Bally's and Showboat in AC and maybe they will provide me with evidence of a loss? Any advice from the crowd on this?

Thanks,

Super simple, Ned. You can get a win/loss statement by signing into your account online. They should be available in February, but there is actually a trick to get it now for 2010 even though they aren't posted.

See this thread.
Thanks, Mare. You are always a font of good information.
