How to pick a casino?

Do most people only gamble at the property they're staying at? Or is it spur of the moment, walking past a casino on the Strip or downtown and deciding to go there?
In the past, I've gone where I've had good luck previously....MGM, Palms. But upon returning, things never seem to work out quite as well.

I go where the FPVP is, except MGM where the Lion's Share is a must. Or I will go for a gambling promo anywhere if it's decent.

I tend to gamble more where I stay, because it's convenient and some games are the same or close enough that I don't give up much by not going where the best gamble is. If there's a game that I know is somewhere - and nowhere else - then I'll travel to it. This is very easy to do downtown, less so on the Strip.

I play mostly table games and do 80%-90% of my gambling at the property I am staying at.

Since I only stay where I want to play, I tend to do most of my playing where I stay. But I usually stay in a couple of different casinos on a trip and try to make a side trip every day for a few hours. But if it doesn't have FP DDB, I don't play there (nor do I stay there).

You get better offers if you concentrate your play but I enjoy exploring the city. I usually end up spreading my play around to about 15 places which doesn't really get me on their radar screen. But whatever. I get bored just playing in the same place.

Having said that some places will hook you up with even a little play. I get decent offers from the M-Resort, EL Cortez, and The California.

I play where i'm most comfortable and i stay where i am most comfortable. I have tried almost every place on the strip and downtown but now mainly stay ay Bellagio. I enjoy the whole property and seem to win more there,

We play only where we are staying in order to receive the most comps. Having said that, sometimes we will spend one day of the trip going out and about just to see another part of town. We all ways stay downtown and 4 Queens is our favorite.
