I believe that when holding 3 to a Royal, your odds on connecting is 1,081 to 1.
Rick
Since I am a mathematics teacher, I will confirm Rick's assertion. 1,081 to 1 is correct. The calculation goes like this: There are 47*46 = 2,162 different possible draws of 2 cards from the 47 remaining in the deck. You need two specific cards, but the order you receive them doesn't matter, so there are two ways you can get the cards you need. Let's say you need an Ace of clubs and King of clubs. One way to get those two cards is Ace, then King. The other way is King, then Ace. Therefore you have probability 2/2,162 = 1/1,081 of hitting your royal.
For the record, drawing to RF2, you have odds of 16,215 to 1 to hit.
