"I will call security"

Last Tuesday, my 25 year old son and I was in the River Spirit casino in Tulsa.  I was showing my son around the casino and explaining to him about the different games and slots.  A Lady who looks to be in her 50's was playing a type of slot that I play frequently,  It's a quarter VGT slot, Red Ruby, that has 5 pay lines.  Since I know this slot I was explaining the nuances of the machine to my son.  We are about 5 feet from the lady.  She says something to me and I walk up to her to hear what she is saying.  "You need to step away, I will call security".

It is sad that some people have so much fear and paranoia that they have a problem with people watching their play.  Granted my son has a "man-bun" and his arms are abundantly tattooed.  Is it the Geographical area or are people so afraid in Vegas also?

Some people are just paranoid where ever you go....like those who cover thier credits with their wallet, a tissue or whatever they have handy so no one can see them. Personally, I would've joined the conversation in explaining the nuances of the game with your son.

I can understand her comment, I really don't like people to watch me when I am playing slots.   You can call it paranoid, but I don't think it is.   I am always concerned about if I am winning and people are watching you play, how do you know if they just want to watch the bonus rounds or if they are watching you to maybe rob you.   I have been followed by people in Las Vegas and it really bothers me, that is why I tend not to walk between casinos.   There are so many weirdos out on the streets you don't know if they are going to try to kill you or just want to watch bonus rounds.  My husband likes to watch people when they play and I try to pull him away as quickly as I can, because I know it bothers me.
