And while at Four Queens, keep in mind that there also is a coupon for 2X points on a trip up to 500 points at Four Queens in the American Casino Guide (but that's actually for everyone, not just newbies).

I think that Plaza Casino has an up to $500 in Freeplay Loss Rebate for newbies (check their website for details).

Cosmopolitan had a rebate for new sign ups. Don't know if they still do.

Tropicana had a rebate as well, and I think they still do.

Some require a lengthy period to collect it all, making it not so great for out of towners who may not be there long enough or returning within the specified period. Just something to watch out for.

Also, warn your friend why you will say "no thanks" and keep walking to the street hawkers and the time share hawkers...unless you want to endure the 2-4 hour presentation.

I believe the Cosmo and Tropicana loss rebates for new sign-ups have been discontinued. The Plaza rebate is still in effect.

The free photo with the million dollars, the free contest near the players club, I think new players get a free ace card to use at blackjack, as well as a cash back for getting so many points.
