Interesting article on IGT Game King VP cheating

Read this well written article at https://www.wired.com/2014/10/cheating-video-poker/
Fascinating. Thanks.

Speaking for myself ( and possibly for many others) I would have never shared the information and would of been content with less frequent smaller "wins". Both of those guys are idiots.
Captain, you comp hound! You, fer sure, I remember from a meet I threw at harrahs years ago. The suite was suitable for a 5-6 person deal, but I don't drink so it may not have been THAT memorable. See ya sometime!

I think in the beginning each one thought he needed the other one to pull off the con. Then greed set in.

A fool and his money are soon parted. Somebody said that.
Wow, I would have played at a low level, then switched to where I would win "only" $1000.00 so there would be no jack-pot at all. Example....play 10 cents, win $100 jack-pot then switch to $1 and win $1000 walk away repeat somewhere else. Not positive it would have worked that way, but just saying. Loved the story.

Funny when I pointed out a huge mistake on VP bar top, the card was switching on its own after the draw, it was dropping a card that I had held, I thought it was my mistake at first, then it happened 2 more times. the casino employees did not seem to care at all. So IMO the casino was no different than these guys!!!!!!
Big brother always watching overhead
Well written and very interesting...thanks.
I had to go elsewhere to get a (sort of) explanation as to how the glitch worked, and that made it seem as the example in the lead of the story was wrong. But I liked the story, too. And also would have kept my wins smaller and more sporadic.
