Is it possible to cheat at Bingo?

I was at the bingo parlor at Binions last week with 2 friends of mine. Seemed like something strange going on with the same couple winning & winning during the 2 sessions we were at. It got to the point that the floor walker didn't even count out the money to them & they didn't even really look to see what they were tipping - just grabbed several $20s off the top & gave it back to him - a tip.
We were at the same table for the last session & the floor worker handed him one of his wins & said something like "What did I tell you, Albert?".
My friends play a lot of bingo & said somehow they were cheating. I don't want to jump to that conclusion, so I wonder if it's even possible with all the computers to cheat. They were using the electronic bingo machine, and so was I.
Anyone know if there's a way they can program these to win or make it look like a win when it wasn't? Maybe we just witnessed a very lucky bingo playing couple? There were a fair number of people in the hall, it wasn't very busy or very empty and this couple yelled bingo 10 times or more. They also won the game that sends a person into the money blowing "Grab that Dough" machine.
Any thoughts?
I think with paper games IN THEORY it's possible to cheat but that would mean a conspiracy involving multiple workers at the casino and probably the ball not coming out of the hopper in the way it typically does now.

Sometimes folks just win multiple times in a row and you don't know how many packs the couple was playing. I've seen folks drop $150+ in ONE BINGO session. That's a LOT of Bingo cards and a person playing that amount, which might last me 4-7 sessions, SHOULD be winning more frequently than others playing fewer cards. I've spent $5 playing ONE bingo card and have yelled Bingo TWICE in one BINGO session. Go figure.

Yes, in theory it's possible to cheat but I think it would be REALLY hard to do in this more modern BINGO age, it would involve a number of folks, and I don't think it's worth it for the casino to risk that. Why risk your GAMING license and possibly go to PRISON by condoning employees being a party to cheating at BINGO, which is typically a LOSS LEADER?!

Edited to add: Good to know Binion's has BINGO. I think that's relatively new!
Sounds like Bingo at Binions on ur Birthday!!!
Of all people, I did get to yell Bingo 2 times myself. Both for little, really little prize money, but what a thrill to yell! I hadn't been to bingo in years. My 2 friends are at Bingo quite a bit.
Thanks for your opinion on this. I hope it was just a lucky night for them. I'd like to go back next time. They had some pretty good prizes & I met a man who had won $25,000.00 there. His picture was on the door when you walk in.

Dutz, I want to be that man on my birthday in August.
I agree...I think they were just having a very lucky night. I've been to sessions where people won 4-5 times in a single session. It's all luck. And if they maxed out the cards on the machines, they would have a lot more possibilities to win...although I've had a lot of cards on the machines sometimes and still don't win.

That's why it's called gambling. I don't think there's any way it could have been fixed. Too many variables.
I hope you are FFlowers.
