Let's Talk Craps

I don't know for sure but he could be in his 70's or 80's. I know that he served in the Korean War so that should put him very possibly in his 80's.

As for Charting the table, at least as far as I know, he feels that it can't hurt and that streaks (trends) tend to follow since he says that a trend can begin with one win (occurance).

So for him, he is charting the table to see if the way that he has pre-determined to bet is coming in (at least more often than not).

Just got done with a 2 hour session at the local casino. Lost $48. An amazing amount of hop bets, like I've never seen before. Combined with horn bets this was the slowest table I've ever bet at. I couldn't stand it. The first hour was fine and then...Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I just couldn't get anything going, I think the most I was up was about $20 and the most I was down was about $80.
Another 2 hour session, won $135. Much better than last week, faster table without all the b.s. hop bets, etc... Good crew for the most part but I don't like when you make a bet for them and they don't acknowledge it. A simple "thanks for the bet" would be nice. But after 3 dealer bets with no thanks I stopped. Didn't tip when I colored up either.

I was at the Palace Station in early February making the rounds. I was trying to set the dice and found the tables extreamly bouncy(a lot of dice off the table).
I then went to the LVH, where I had my biggest hit ever 3 years ago and found the end board of the table so short almost every throw bounced over the endof it....how embarrassing!
I then hit the D on Fremont Street and did well. I then wandered out to Samstown on Boulder highway and was nailing 8 to 10 inch bounces from the end of the table and made up all loses from the first 3 days of the trip!
with that said.....what are your feelings on seeting the dice?

I've seen people "chart" crap tables before. Very foolish in my opinion. Each roll of the dice is an independant event. Prior rolls mean nothing unless the shooter can control the dice. I was a skeptic about dice control until I witnessed 2 different people who convinced me otherwise. I've also seen dozens of other shooters attempting dice control and failing. You can always tell who these people are. They always stand next to the stickman and toss the dice very gently with the 3's facing up.

When I play craps I stick with the bets with the lowest house edge. Sometimes I play pass and sometimes I play dont. Sometimes I will even alternate between the two. I take or lay at least double odds, more if I'm doing well. If I'm on the pass line I will also place the 6 and 8, and sometimes the 5 and 9. If I'm on the don't, I dont place any numbers because I'm hoping for a quick seven out.

The wizardofodds.com website shows the house edge on every craps wager. The craps table offers some of the best house edge bets in the casino as well as some of the worst. I think anyone who enjoys craps should know these odds. If you don't, check out this website.

How did they do that exactly?

Don't confuse a winning session with proof of dice control. They're not the same.

When people win the lottery, I don't take it as evidence that they control the ping pong balls.

It might not help to use dice control but then you'd also have to admit it doesnt hurt to try either!

I agree, so long as the pit crew also realizes its bs and doesn't apply any heat.
I have been playing craps for some 30 years and have had only a few minor instances of heat being directed my way.....and yes, I have had more than a few real good sessions while setting the dice.
Remember, you are NOT going to influence the dice every throw.
