I've not posted since getting upgraded to Platinum card, mainly because of my embarrassing losses. I went on tilt, chasing my losses. There were a few sessions playing Pai Gow that I had recouped my losses, or had mitigated them and continued to play, for a dissapointing session. One example I had recovered over $3,000 playing Pai Gow. Left the table with every intention of checking out of room and leaving hotel. I stopped off at a Neptune slot. and lost $600. I returned to Pai Gow to get the $600 back and lost another $3,000.
I give 95% of my gambling to the Downstream Casino near Joplin. I do play in Poker rooms at the Hard Rock and River Spirit in Tulsa. While at the Hard Rock, picking up a profit loss statement. I played some free play and turned it into $663. Went into Poker room and won $330. Driving up to Downstream this last Sunday I had $420 in freeplay. Spending the night Sunday night because I have to split the freeplay between the weeks ending sunday and the new week on Monday.
I did misplace one of the freeplay coupons $40 value, never found it. I attribute that to my self medicating with my sleep aid from Colorado. I played 3 sessions of Pai Gow, netting $800 win. The Neptune slots were good to me with a $300 profit. I left Monday with a $1,100 profit.
It really feels good to be in the plus column again. I'm returning to the Downstream Friday for a cash drawing, which I have 52,000 entries. It's funny how I counsel my friends and associates on how to mitigate their losses and it's okay to leave with profit. I seem to have trouble following my own advise.
