Low Limit Blackjack

Okay now that the Sahara will not be an option for $1 blackjack looking for some low limit blackjack sugestions... Anywhere in town is okay as I get a rental car. Thanks in advance for any replies...
Cheapovegas.com usually offers info about lowest table games.
How low is low? I'm going to assume you mean under $10, which is the Strip standard and can be found most places, most of the time.

There are $2 minimum tables at the Poker Palace, the Longhorn, and Fitzgeralds. The latter is downtown, but it has terrible rules. The other two have better rules but the surroundings and clientele are a little bit... um... sketchy. They're both a long way from the Strip too.

$5 minimums are abundant downtown and off the Strip. Some have good rules and some don't.

$3 minimums can be found sometimes at otherwise $5 min tables when the place is less busy.

Oh yeah, there's $1 virtual blackjack at the Las Vegas Hilton. But virtual blackjack is evil and cannot be recommended.
The Western has $2 blackjack as well. It pays 6:5 I believe....I may be mistaken. Not worth the time since you can play $3 double deck BJ with good rules at El Cortez.

During my April 2011 visit, I did see at least one table where Player Blackjacks paid 6 To 5 (and I think that the minimum bet was $2).

Our 1st night there in a few weeks will be Saturday--does anyone know if Southpoint tends to still have $5 bj those nights, or do they bump up to $10 minimum because of the weekend?

last three trips, South Point has $10 bj on weekend nights from 5pm-midnight. After that the limits seem to go back down to $5.
Thanks Calipso--that was even more specific info than I was hoping for.
Your mileage will vary though. Craps didn't go down to $5 till 3am on Sunday morning. I'm more into craps.

South Point is good on weekends though for minimums.

I'm not sure what you mean by virtual BJ. If you are referring to the Royal Match machines where players sit at a real table and are dealt cards by a video dealer, you are very mistaken. Most of these machines have good rules for basic play. When you factor in the fact there is no tipping required, the value increases, and you generally earn comps at a much higher pace than at a low stakes table game.RM games are great to exploit 8X points promos at a certain casino.
