LVH Receivership?

Any updates out there?

I was there a few weeks ago and no one seemed to know anything.

Hotel staff as always....dealers and and pit crew were a joke.

Gave them players card put down a first bet of $15 at BJ...she looked at me and said is that how you are betting? I won't need your card..I laughed and said it is my first bet settle down...she said we don't waste the pit crew's time for that level play.....I looked around at the quiet pit and before I got up and walked away I thought they are going to have nothing but time on their hands soon!

I love the place but that group is scary!
There are many casinos in LV that won't rate players for under $25/hand play. LVH is not unique.
I think the point was missed. I was not talking about rating I was talking about taking the card. Whether I play at Bellagio Wynn Orleans Mirage or the Riv. Any Pit Critter worth their salt want the card. Once you have the card you can decide down the road if level of play dictates rating to ask someone on their first hand or two what their average bet might be is stupidity and insulting.

If I sit down at a $10 table I may play $10 for awhile if I am grinding...if I get up I may go to $50 a hand no way to know. If you have my card you can rate accordingly as play warrants if you tell someone you don't want their card if they are betting $10 or $15 bucks for the first few hands awful tough to come back and ask for the card in an hour when that person is betting over $25 consistently and if they did ask me after they told me no I would not give it to them anyway!
Quick Update

Spoke to a Manager at the property today.

Receivership has been extended to October.

They are still hiring I guess they hired four people last night.

Who knows what all this means. The proximity to the convention center makes this a gold mine with the right ownership.

Something has to be behind this as you can't ask for more business travelers clueless about gambling that would get you a ton of return on tabes and slots and their expense accounts get used on Food and Beverage

August 29, 2012 14:45 New Management for LVH: The long-troubled off-Strip property, formerly the Las Vegas Hilton, is to gain new management, reports the R-J, with Las Vegas-based Navegante Group taking over operations from the court-appointed reciever who's been running the property since January. Apparently, the resorts's 1,800 workers, who received Worker Adjustment and Retraining Act notifications today, will apparently be rehired under the new management. A foreclosure sale is set for sometime in November and a joint venture between Gramercy Capital and Goldman Sachs Mortgage Co. LLC, the current lender, will bid for the property, it's being reported. Colony Resorts LVH Acquisitions LLC will remain LVH's owner until the sale is completed.
