main street scratch cards

is there a new policy on the scratch cards? read somewhere that you have to scratch them as soon as you get them in front of the card person.

This is true , just came back from a week at MSS , and that was the policy + you had to play off the 4oak while they were standing there.

I played/stayed there in October. Got 5 scratch off cards during a 2 hour stretch of BP. Was not required to scratch them in front of anyone at anytime. When I finished playing I took the "Scratched off cards" - total of $8.00, to the cashier. The rule must have changed since then. All that was "required" then to get the cards was for the slot attendant to see your 4OAK. They would hand me your cards and then dissappear!

Played there several times in January and received many scratch cards. Never had to scratch in front of the attendant, in fact we waited until our playing session was over for the day before we would scratch the cards.

I played in February and you had to scratch off the cards in front of the attendant. New policy.

We spent three days there the second week of January. They said the new rules went into place January 1.

It looks like it depends on your slot attendant. Seems like a silly rule to if in fact that is their new rule.

Im spending my 1st 3 nights of my Vegas trip there (3/22-25th) and I love to sit down at the slant tops in the back right corner...with my diet cokes, black coffee and/or O'Douls and pound away. I hate stopping to even call the attendant over to see my quads (but I will). Now I have to stop, pull out a quarter, and scratch???

I guess it is what it is. Hopefully I'll get the same slot attendants that Brenda had!

Maybe the slot attendants can bring you the quarter so you dont have to dig.
