I have no idea how MSS handles this promotion, but I assume they have some controls in place. They have been running this promo for years, and should have the bugs worked out by now.
That makes sense. If you are going to quit playing for that session then they can't force you to play another hand. The slot attendant would need to take care of removing that hand.
