New address = new slot club account??

Hubby and I moved recently: new address, new town, new emails and no mortgage! I'm wondering if I can (should) parlay this event into starting up new slot club cards on my visit out to LV next week, in order to take advantage of any freebies/free play various casinos have to offer to newbies. I have a fairly odd first name but very common last name...do you thing that the boothlings will put 2+2 together, if I just say I never had a card?

And is it worth the trouble? I just became mortgage-free - I'd hate to have the Slot Cops hunt me down, void my points then kill me for duplicate slot card ownership. I heard they do that...it was on the Internet.

They will know. They look you up using your name and birthdate, as shown on your drivers license, not by your address.

Thanks, suecasey - I knew I could count on you for a good answer. I felt I was missing some point that would connect two accounts - which would be birthdate...not like me to miss something that obvious.

Don't they have a SS# also, which unlike a same name with the same birthdate, is totally unique ?

They used to ask for SS #'s when you signed up, but they don't anymore. We have SS #'s for people who have won jackpots requiring a W2G, for people who have won drawings requiring a 1099, for people who have requested win-loss statements. We don't have them for everybody.

Even if you could, you would
1 - Give up any points you already had
2 - Give up any history if good

But, if you did, you would then be able to
A - start with a new history
B - as a new player you might be able to get a keychain, or maybe even $5 in freeplay - whoopee to do!

And, no matter what, somewhere the system would screw up and you would become a nobody

I have multiple accounts with several casinos, from signing up using my NY license and again with my Florida license. Only one casino gave me a hard time. Harrahs has over three hundred people with my exact name. The biggest advantage is you get multiple mailings.
