No Flop Pineapple

Has anybody played this at the Golden Nugget? According to the Wizard of Odds, the house edge is only about 1.5%. Just wondering what the minimums are, are the tables crowded, etc.

Thanks for replies. Just 8 days to March Madness trip!
Apparently no one has played this game. Is it a form of black jack?
From the Nugget's Facebook page:

The Golden Nugget LV has completed the field trial for No Flop Pineapple Hold'em and has decided to keep the game for it's players. They are also going to start some advertising and some type of promotion for the game placed in each hotel room. Look for it when you stay at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.

Here's the Wizard of Odds page about it:

Seems like it could be interesting and relaxing...

It seems like a reasonable alternative to blackjack. I suspect it may offer the player a significant edge if played single deck.

Blackjack is a game of points, like baccarat, with each card having a point value. Pineapple is a form of poker.

Poker is not really a game of points, although you could think about it that way somewhat. For example, the four cards 2,3,4,5 are better than the four cards 2,3,4,6 even though the latter hand has more "points."
We have this game at one of the local Indian casinos in New Mexico. I've played it a few times, it can be fun, especially if you're getting pocket pairs, which is the side bet. The play bet is two times the ante bet, which for me usually means a $20 play bet on the $10 ante bet.

In my experience, I tend to break about even on the play/ante bet, especially since the dealer doesn't have to qualify in order to get paid as in some other poker-based games. The real win/loss is usually in the side bet for the pocket pairs since that's entirely luck of the deal.

If you like the Ultimate Hold 'Em or Texas Hold 'Em table games, you would probably like Pineapple.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I was reading the reviews and looking at the rules to this game. It sounds like it's a mix of three card poker and carribean stud poker in one. I'll have to try this game when I come out in September.
