The Palms had 9/6 JoB when they opened in April. By July it was all gone.
Interesting development. All the initial reports on the VP were the good machines had garbage for theos and awarded virtually no comp/tier points. Sounds like some sharps found an angle on the Jacks and kept it quiet for a bit.

Not quite--there was a new player sign-up bonus that returned 1%, so they throttled the over 99% games. They initially killed the 8/5 Bonus and left the JOB alone, which I think was a simple booboo.
The sign-up bonus was a bit more consequential than it might otherwise have been because EVERYONE was a new player--and the bonus, played to the max, was worth over $50.
