Obsolete table games

I remember a table game named "Aces Roules", I think. Does anyone remember it and know the rules? Also, if you know of any other obsolete table games no longer around, let me know.

Ohh, this made me research for the rules. This was what I found 1. Shuffle the deck./ 2. Repeat until the stock is empty: / 2a. Deal four face up cards in a row (onto the 4 tableau spaces). / 2b. Repeat until no more moves are possible/ Discarding move: if an exposed card has lower value and the same suit as another exposed card, discard the lower card. // Filling move: If an empty space exists in the tableau, move any exposed card into it. The game is won if just the 4 aces are left in the tableau, and lost otherwise.

The most popular table game for most of the 19th and 20th centuries was called "Faro".

Basically players got to bet on a specific card 2,3,4,.... Q,K,A.    The dealer would flip over two cards from thed deck...the first one made all players lose who chose that value...the second card would pay all players who chose that value.   dealer would keep flipping cards like this until all card values were accounted for.

Not much skill required.
