Old Gambling Movie On TCM Tonight (Early Thursday Morning 7/7)

Hey Group,

I'm just now noticing an old movie on Turner Classic Movies about Gambling.

It's airing at 1:45AM Pacific Time (4:45AM Eastern Time) which is called "Gambling Lady" from 1934 starring Barbara Stanwyck and Pat O' Brien. Stanwyck plays a Professional Poker Player who marries into society. It's called a melodramatic soap opera.

Sorry I missed it.
What's the funny one with Stanwyck and Henry Fonda?
She and her dad are two gambling con artists. Very funny.
You're thinking of A Big Hand for the Little Lady (1966). Joanne Woodward played the title character. The cast also included Jason Robards, Burgess Meredith and Paul Ford. It will be on again (according to the TCM website) Tuesday, August 16th at 1pm est.

No definitely not Big Hand...I know that movie well. Love that one too.

Finally found it, the one I'm thinking of is "The Lady Eve."
Barbara Stanwyck, Henry Fonda, Charles Coburn.
Hilarious movie.

Sorry, i thought you meant Fonda was in on the con, which made me think of Big Hand. Yes, The Lady Eve is a great film! Coburn is wonderful. Have you seen him The More The Merrier or The Devil and Miss Jones? And Stanwyck is simply in a category of her own. Just wonderful.
