I pulled a Mare move yesterday and got A's w/ kicker for $2K at Excal. I was unfortunately unable to complete the daily double which would have included the progressive RF that was sitting at a tad over $5K when we called it a day yesterday.

Thanks Cyndy...it's a hot streak but the cold ones are equally frigid! Not complaining but it's kind of like tallying your W2-G's.....they might show the jackpots you won but in our case, are in no way indicative of our actual results.

Mare, the horseshoe is on it's way back. I guess you realize that you returned it slightly prematurely. Thanks for allowing us to borrow it....it did help. Wouldn't it be a novel concept when we all were on the same visit and won? LOL See you next week.

Got another fun one to post....not as financially rewarding but nice nonetheless. It also help propel us from a $1K loss to something considerably less. I'll post the details and picture later today.

Here's Barb's little bundle of joy from Ellis Island yesterday.

.25 10 line DDB Quick Quads. Dealt four 2's with a rag. Discarded and drew two hands with kickers. Instead of being down $1,700 for the day, this made up $1,300 of it with this hand. Add $360 in cash back from yesterday's play and a $20 hand pay bonus and we lost $50 for the day on just under $40K coin in.

It's not a win but it sort of felt like one

Congrats again, Dan! I would have liked to have shared a little bit of the horseshoe this trip, but alas, that was not meant to be. What a nightmare of a trip for me in that regard (as you know)! Had a great time with you and Barb otherwise, though!

Made a trip to Hard Rock in Tampa on Saturday. Came up with these beauts.

Switch to 50 cents, down to 5 hands and the 10X gave me 3-3s which filled in one. Yes, I play bonus and I know how much it would have been if I had been playing DDB but Cyndy don't play that!


The machines behind me were really noisy. They were only 2cent machines so I was curious. Of course at full coin it's $4 a spin. Was shocked when this came out for a $3k handpay!


I now have my bankroll for Vegas. Heading out on Wednesday.
