Sorry for the late responses but we were on a "free" (LOL) casino cruise to Mexico. Glad to see others were picking up the slack while we were away.
Goldmans, we technically live in Florida but have been in Vegas more so far this year than anywhere else. Barb had been here from February 9th until March 21st when we left for our cruise. We're back in port as I type this and will be heading back to Vegas for a few days before heading "home" to FL. I agree...the vp in FL sucks. We live about 25 mins. from the Tampa HR and other than trying to get on their radar about a year ago with four days of regimented play on Barb's card (I don't even have one), the offers were paultry. In reality, the games aren't bad although limited. The comps and BB are virtually non-existent (at least for us). It tells you something when I can drive 25 mins. to play and pass on that in favor of flying almost across the country, pay for the privilege to get here and pay to rent a car to get around.
Bill, I was happy to see that both Mare and Barb had aces with kicker at virtually the same time on their last 4Q visit. Anything they can do to make the slot personnels life easier. LOL

John, your win was the best kind.....no risk.....great hit. I'm like you and in the past wouldn't even consider "wasting my time" on a free spin. Time to reevaluate that!
Rizzo, what's really scary is that she claims she woke me and told me about and I got up the following day and didn't remember. How does that happen? You had a nice hit as well.....I checked the standings and you're just one behind me in the RF listing. I'll be back at "work" again later today....you're up my ass and Mare's creeping away.
J-M, we play this stupid little game between us when we're playing side by side. We start with the $1 10 play. The person who goes first needs to win at least the amount of their bet to go again. If they're able to repeat three times, they go to the next level ($2). Again, if you tie or win your bet amoun three times, you go to $5, etc. We once got it up to $10 but quickly retrenched. I wasn't there to witness but Barb claims that it was her first attempt at $5 when she got this hand. However, from previous experience, she's been known to take a "liberal" stance on our little game. She instituted the "second chance bonus" which basically is a do over when you get a sucky hand. So, in the end, who knows? LOL More importantly, I'm not going to argue with her.
