so i turn around and there is a video keno machine. oh fine, i put the $100 in only i dont stop after one or two hands to get some change. i keep going. and going. degenerate gambler here, get your degenerate gambler here......

so i decide to stop at $40. i dont. i go one more. i hit "max bet" and then "erase" and then "quick pick" and finally, "start"

my first w2g. i freaked out. i told anyone who spoke to me "IM FREAKING OUT". i got back to the room and freaked out. i had to call the front desk for a late check out and told HER "im freaking out".

i had to get dressed to leave, i HAD to go. capital were playing long island for crissakes, i need to GO but i could not breathe or function or stop shaking.

i tried to take cell phone pictures of the money and i did a bad job. i have camera pictures but im at my sisters and i dont want to upload them on her computer.

i couldnt get all the bills in the frame so i had to mush them all up together.



then i had to GO LETS GO CAPITAL ARE PLAYING LETS GO

i dont carry a wallet. i have a small bag that fits two packs of cigarettes, a tiny camera and a change purse. i could not fit five thousand dollars in there (dont tell me i could have gotten a check, i know this, i wasnt thinking, i was freaking out) so i had to roll it up and stick it inside a cigarette pack.



i rushed to caesars and had a few minutes so i played the ultimate x and got another $100.

bolted to the bus and when back in nyc, stopped off at an atm and deposited my money.

continued on to see capital.....who opened for crime in stereo........who played "the troubled stateside" in its entirety, this is one of my "if i were trapped on a desert island" albums.......and during capital, there was a fake kill your idols reunion. you dont need to know who that is, but you do need to know that i have a kill your idols tattoo, thats how much this meant to me.

what a very INSANE day.

Take a look at that Royal progressive. That was last Saturday. I'll see if it has gone higher today.
This machine has 5 different game progressives and 3 were over $6000 each.

You know what I mean!

First, the $1 Bonus Poker progressive had been hit at least once since last week. The meter was at $4,071.


This session was a story of two near-death (in bankroll terms) experiences.

I allocated half my bankroll to VP and half to craps. This was the best of the VP play. VP allocation gone. There are three STP machines and I could never play the third because it was always busy.



My craps bankroll disappeared quickly. Nobody, myself included, could make anything. I was down to $40
so I went to the other crap table to make a last bet. $10 on the line with $30 odds when a lovely lady came out with a 10. She proceeded to throw a 10 on 8 of her first 11 rolls. My $40 grew to $500 in no time. Amazing. I cashed out after her roll and decided to invest $200 on VP. I was able to get the 3rd machine this time. One or two quads hit but the money disappeared soon enough. Dow to $11 and the girls appeared.




Four minutes later .........




I've had a lot bigger wins but nice comebacks are a kick. If the 10s don't hit in craps I have no bankroll to play vp again. No dealt queens, no double set of aces.

I always love your STP pictures, Phil. Congrats on that "reversable" Straight Flush. I've hit one ever, and that's probably my lifetime allotment.
