Yeah, I just about fell off the stool when I noticed that I got aces w kicker on the re-draw....quite unexpected and lucky.


The straight flushes were nice. I had a total of 7 dealt 4 to a royal but the two shown are the only ones that paid off.

The only royal that I saw was on a machine that I had played about an hour then I got up and moved 3 machines away. A lady sits down and gets a royal within 10 minutes on the machine that I just left. That has happened numerous times.

Spent most of last week in Atlanta for work - returned home Thursday night and went into the office on Friday. Looked like rain was rolling in (thus ending my other evening plans) so decided to head back to Mystic Lake after work on Friday. Hit a royal on my previous trip - would this one be as good? I had been daydreaming at work about getting a a dealt 4OAK on the 10 play machine - will it happen?

I start out at the 10 play machine - invest a few hundreds before I get dealt a couple good 3OAK's and get quads with kicker each time - the bankroll has recovered!





I then decide to play some STP - crack VP! Finally get a nice hit with the 5X multiplier...now up about $400.



I then venture over to play some single hand $ DDB. I was quickly dealt quad 4's (sorry no photo) for $400. I played for a while - up and down and eventually held a pair of 4's - got the other 2 and kicker on the redraw for $800! Take my $400 and $800 tickets and head back over to the 10 play for another session.

Didn't take long and this hand came up - 4 was definitely the lucky number on this day!
