Now Rick you know that those 2 cards to the Royal weren't just sitting there waiting for you to make a decision. They were flashing by at the speed of light -1. The machine is programmed just to display those cards just to piss you off !

Phil, Although I hit the 4 Aces for $2K, seeing those Royal cards fill in a little while later, did kind of dampen my day.

Oh well, I made the correct play, .............................. and I'll get 'em next time.

Harrahs Joliet last night aces/kicker...the rest over the last week

Lady friend and I were at the M-resort last night.

We started off pretty strong, and then we fizzled out. We were down to our last 20 bucks, when Lady friend hit a 4 spot on a keno machine a few times for $80 bucks!

She cashed that out, I took the TITO and said "lets go play that progressive bonus Poker machine, and hopefully we'll get lucky!"

We headed towards the high limit area, and noticed that the progressive was almost 4600 bucks!

I started playing, and kept getting lots of full houses, flushes and 3OAK's dealt!

I kept saying "AM I EVER GOING TO HIT A QUAD!!??"

We had walked in to the M-resort with 300 bucks, and all we had left was this 80 buck tito as our last hope!

I managed to build up that 80 bucks into $150 bucks, then I needed the 4 of spades to complete the following hand......



I made it up to $400 bucks with a 2 pair shortly after this hand, and we cashed out, and got the hell out of there.
