Plaza/LV Club new member promo

I went to the Plaza the week it re-opened and there was a $5 parking fee sign.

The guy in the booth said it will be waived tonight but that will be the norm in the future.

Anyone there recently who can say if it is in effect?

I think they are nuts, but in AC (doing the great race) I just determined they do charge $10 to park and all the casinos charge the $10 in AC.

So I hope this is not the future along with resort fees.

At least from what I have understood from my host (unless this has changed again), the parking fee can end up being returned to you (through going to the cashier) if you play some in the casino and flag down a Slot person to note that you have played. This parking fee is also waived if you are a hotel guest there.

Plaza has had the problem of people from all over (including employees from other casino/hotels) parking there and so they wanted to get rid of that problem.
