Problems cashing out table chips

Casinos either need to have a dedicated cashier who only cashes out table chips or they need to have a machine where players can put in the chips and get cash back (sounds like a good Shark Tank idea!).

3 times on my last trip I went to cash out my table winnings and had to sit in line for 20 minutes while people in front of me were cashing checks, getting credit advances, or refinancing their mortgage....or some other transaction that takes forever.    

Thats ridiculous !     People, do your banking at your bank.     And if casinos are going to be banks now then there needs to be a faster way to cash out chips which is a 10 second transaction.

Most of the time, there's a window or two with a sign that says "Chips and Cash Only" or some such. You particularly see that in locals' casinos on Fridays when all the employees line up to cash their paychecks. (A considerable portion of that money will never leave the casino.)

Several times, I've been standing in line behind someone who was doing the refinance-their-mortgage thing and the same cashier waved me up when she saw I was holding casino chips. You're right, there should be a dedicated effort by all the casinos to prioritize chip cashouts.

I've facetiously described casino cages as "one hundred people out on the floor to take your money away, and three people in the cage to give it back."

That employee should be recognised as a valuable member of the casino and deserves an "atta girl". They all wear name tags.
