Question on Dueces Wild.

I was dealt a wild royal with 3 deuces. Should I have dumped the wild royal and gone for the 4 deuces. I took the wild royal, but after thinking about it, I don't know if that was the right move.

Thanks
According to Dancer's strategy cards, holding the Wild Royal is correct.
It depends on the game. In FPDW and NSUD where the payout for the ducks is 1000, the correct play is to hold the wild royal. But in Loose Deuces, where the payout is 2500, it is better to go for the ducks.
Thank you

Get the Bob Dancer cards. Follow them. One of the most profitable things any VP player can do. Has no effect on the fun. Big effect on the profits (or lack of losses).
anyone know if there is a place in Vegas to pick up Bob's cards?
I've bought some directly from the LVA office while in vegas.
If you are stuck, there is no time limit, so you can actually take out a piece of paper and do the math.

By holding the 3 dueces, you are guaranteed 4OAK, so that is your floor, and you will hit that x number of times. You will get another wild royal x1 number of times, 5OAK x2 number of times, a straight flush x3, etc. (I can't remember if that's better than 4OAK).

There are 47 unseen cards, so take the total of all the possible payouts, and divide by (47x46/2). That answer is the average result of holding the three dueces.

I've found that if I work through it, I'm much happier if I don't make my draw, because then I don't have both the disappointment and the doubt.
So is there a Bob Dancer Win Poker App for smart phones?

Sure would be nice to Analyze any hand right at the machine.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if besides at the LVA (HP) offices, you might also be able (although I'm not absolutely sure about this, so do check first) to get these cards at the Gambler's General Store and the Gambler's Book Shop. There are coupons for further discounts at the GGS and GBS in the American Casino Guide.
