There isn't one, Blade, but if you have Android OS, I've found a free app called Video Poker Expert, which is mostly a limited-feature (but very accurate) trainer but will also analyze hands. The pay tables aren't customizable, though, and for DW you're limited to FPDW and NSUD.

That's almost true: it is not illegal to use electronic devise while gambling per se, but it must be one that in some way helps you play the game as indicated as follows:

NRS?465.075??Use or possession of device, software or hardware to obtain advantage at playing game prohibited.??It is unlawful for any person to use, possess with the intent to use or assist another person in using or possessing with the intent to use any computerized, electronic, electrical or mechanical device, or any software or hardware, or any combination thereof, which is designed, constructed, altered or programmed to obtain an advantage at playing any game in a licensed gaming establishment or any game that is offered by a licensee or affiliate, including, without limitation, a device that:
1.??Projects the outcome of the game;
2.??Keeps track of cards played or cards prepared for play in the game;
3.??Analyzes the probability of the occurrence of an event relating to the game; or
4.??Analyzes the strategy for playing or betting to be used in the game,
Ê except as may be made available as part of an approved game or otherwise permitted by the Commission.


OTOH, no one so far has admitted to knowing anyone who has ever been penalized or prosecuted for using an electronic device that helps one pick the optimum hold cards on video poker on any video poker or associated forum. Still, I'd hate to win a nice big juicy progressive Royal or sequential royal for five figures and then have some snot noised jr. slot manager looking for a raise tell me I'm ineligible to get my payout because I was using an electronic strategy card instead of a paper one. Then threaten that if I pursue it he will have me arrested for breaking NRS?465.075?

So for that reason, I only carry small heavy paper stock strategy cards and only refer to them on rare holds that are close calls that I haven't memorized or may have forgotten.

I think you're exactly right, Straub. The worrisome part of the reg is:

"4.??Analyzes the strategy for playing or betting to be used in the game"

And a paper strategy card is a nice loophole. Could get you 86'ed (although I suspect that that's never happened), but there wouldn't be any legal grounds for disallowing the jackpot.
