Sorry for delay in posting this. Sands Reno is a good place for low rollers like myself and they sent me 2 free nights for each of Jan, Feb & March. (I couldn't use Jan.) On my March visit there was a notice that their Double Royals promotion (where if you hit a RF and then hit a 2nd one on the same denom. or less you're paid double for the 2nd one) will now be Fridays through Sundays only. I believe 50- and 100- play VP machines are excluded from this promotion.
Additionally, their Sands Dollars (which you get when you hit a 4OAK or better with a mimimum of .25 bet per hand) will now be given on Tuesday thru Fridays only and only on the VP machines on one side of the casino.
The attendants will take your word on this; if you hit one, you can push the call button and continue playing. The Sands $ are good in their restaurants, gift shop, etc.
