Seniors Day at Suncoast

Whoopee. I guess I officially qualify as a Senior. Now that I'm 50+ I think they should raise the age limit for my own psychological well-being. Here's my question: I'll be at the Suncoast on a Thursday in August for Seniors Day and 9x points on slots and 7x on VP (I think). I've never paid attention to this type of promotion before. In order to qualify for the additional points, is there anything that I have to do prior to playing, or do they automatically track my age somehow through the magic of the Players Card system? The things you have to do when you're old enough to contemplate the sunny slopes of yesteryear... Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
Stop at the players card booth. They put a lil "young at heart" sticky on your card and i believe they also enter some info in the system!!!

Ill be there thursday..the 16 th!!
Its a great deal. 7x points on VP is strong.
Thanks, Champster. I'm coming in late Wednesday, 8/22, and will make a point of dragging my aging carcass over to the Players Club desk for my very own sticky prior to warm milk and bedtime. It's hell to grow old...

Don't you mean it's GREAT getting more "mellow"?!

BTW you can aslo get the 7 x's vp on Sundays in August too! Heck I double booked the Suncoast from 8/17-19 due in part to an offer of 7 x's VP on the 17th and 18th. Add the fact that the "young at heart" promo is Tuesday and Thursday, and with Sunday ( 7 x's VP) being the 19th....I could get 7 x's VP for 4 nights in a row!
Mellow or just plain tired depending on the day! Out of curiousity, how busy does the Suncoast Casino get? I'm there solo for three days, and the "mellower" I get, the less patience I have for crowds. I've never even set foot in the place, but I assume the VP selection and pay tables are comparable to other Boyd properties? I'm primarily a DW or JoB player at the .50 or dollar level, single line or 3/5 Play. Thanks!
Suncoast never gets that crowded - due to its location in Summerlin, the clientele is mostly older types. Check out vpfree2 for paytables. I don't recall there being any 9/6 job, btw. 7x vp is great, if you can find games you like to play at decent paytables.
Tip: Suncoast often has daily promos where if you earn a certain # of points (minimal) you can swipe at the kiosk and win various prizes (points, buffets, etc.). So check at the players club for anything that might be scheduled during your visit.

Thanks, Fredo. I appreciate the good advice. I now officially qualify as an older type, so I should feel right at home. I'm anxious to see a part of Las Vegas I've never experienced before...
I really love the atmosphere at the Suncoast. Fredo gives a pretty good outline of the place.

I'm a VP/ Paigow/llhe poker player. I especially love their quarter Triple Bonus VP and my girl likes their 8/5 BP quarters. The wooden chairs (last year) weren't adjustable, so I find that playing thier uprights forces me to make a few adjustments to get comfortable ( i.e legs propped up between machines)! Thier table games, Paigow in particular, are less crowded than the Gold coast/Orleans (and less smokey).

This will be my first visit to thier rooms (albiet I'm double booked at Paris so bad room means ride back to the strip at the end of the night). I like freebies and since I'm gonna give b-connected a good amount of play I figure I take the room offer to boot.

Plus 4 straights days of 7x's VP .....I shouldn't have to pay for a meal while I'm there!!!

A "Mellow " atmosphere to say the least!
Thanks, Champster. Likewise, I'm not a big fan of the uprights compared to slant-tops. Based on everything I've heard though, I look forward to checking out the Suncoast. My wife is giving me a hall pass on this trip, so I'm basically looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind...
