shopping sports book lines

So I'm anxiously awaiting my March madness trip and I plan to shop lines on MLB season wins futures. I think I know the books that are Wm. Hill, Cantor, MGM, Stations, and CET. But two questions:

1) Are the following sports books standalone or affiliated? Golden nugget, Strat, TI

2) Anybody know if Cal-Neva and Lucky's still have books in Vegas?

Thanks!
Although I don't know the answer to your questions, if I'm remembering correctly, on the Wizard Of Odds website (or maybe it's the Wizard Of Vegas website), you can find out which groups (or private owners) are running the different Sports Books.

I think the Golden nugget is a standalone.

First, good luck and have fun.

1) They're all standalone, though the Strat book shares numbers with the Charlies.

2) The Cal-Neva and Lucky's books are all now affiliated with William Hill.

Downtown used to be the best place to shop the lines. Past tense. Now only three shops:

William Hill - The D, Four Queens, Binions, Plaza
Golden Nugget
Boyds - Fremont. California, Main Street Station

Not sure what affiliation The El Cortez has.

If I'm remembering correctly, El Cortez's Sportsbook fairly recently changed to being run by Stations' Casinos and also seems to offer Stations' other Sportsbook promotions.

And I think that Boyds Sportsbooks may be connected to Cal-Neva.

Half right. El Cortez' book is still affiliated with the Station group. But Boyd has never been attached to Cal-Neva.
